About Twin City Rentals and Development

History  

Twin City is a family owned and operated company that has been in business for over a century. In 1902, our founder leased a retail property in downtown Trenton, Ontario. His son and wife took the company to another level by purchasing retail and warehouse properties.

The third generation, three sons and a daughter, expanded holdings to include more than 25 buildings in Trenton, Belleville, Prince Edward County and throughout Quinte West. Our core business is the provision of commercial rental space. The fourth generation continues to provide top quality buildings and services in the following constructions:

Twin City currently provides rental space to a broad range of tenants, including multinational companies, governments, professionals including doctors, lawyers and dentists, franchises, industries, legal and medical, and a variety of small local businesses and restaurants. Many have been our tenants for more than 40 years. 

Business Philosophy 

As "hands on" property managers and owners of commercial buildings, we believe that integrity and reliability are paramount. Every tenant concern, whether it's from a multinational corporation or a local small business, receives the same service. 

An Immediate Response Service has been in place for decades. Every repair and maintenance emergency is answered immediately by an owner, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When required, the services of appropriate contractors are scheduled. Onsite work is strictly monitored. 

New Development 

New construction is also overseen first hand. We act as project foreman attending to every detail meticulously, from footings to finish. A great deal of attention is given to all construction details to ensure the highest quality. 

Twin City is totally comitted to our tenants. Our standards of tenant care are exceptional and we take pride in maintaining our reputation for outstanding service.

Location 

Twin City's properties are ideally situated in Quinte West (Trenton), Belleville, and Prince Edward County. Many of our properties are minutes away from Ontario's provincial Highway 401, a four to six lane major thoroughfare, which is accessible to many major centres:

      2 1/2 hours from Ottawa 
      4 hours from Montreal 
      45 minutes from Kingston
      140 km to upstate New York border

The area is a mainline for major commercial rail systems CPR and CNR. Via passenger services the region daily. Airport services are available at CFB Trenton, Canada’s largest military air base.
